Minneapolis

Doyle Alban Williams, aged 85, peacefully departed this life on October 15, 2026, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Doyle was born on April 13, 1941, in St. Joseph, Missouri, where he also received his education in the St. Joseph School District.

A dedicated bus driver in Minneapolis for many years, Doyle was known for his commitment to his work until his well-deserved retirement.

His life was enriched by his cherished family: his children, Lynn Smith, Doyle Smith, and Markus Smith; his beloved sister, Ester Williams; and a multitude of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives.

Doyle proudly served his country as an E5 in the United States Army from 1960 to 1962. He carried with him a love for fishing, often found on the lake sharing serene moments with those he loved. A devoted fan of the Minnesota Vikings, his passion for football was infectious.

Doyle's daughter Lynn remembers with fondness the spirited discussions they shared, conversations filled with wisdom and differing perspectives that will forever hold a special place in her heart.

The legacy of Doyle’s kindness and love for both family and life will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.
