Elsa Lorraine Moore

Elsa Lorraine Moore, 43, passed away August 12, 2024.  Born August 2, 1981 in St. Joseph, MO to Frederick Sylvester Moore Sr. & Luella May Harbord.

Elsa loved to learn and was a hard worker.  She was often enrolled in school to learn something new.  Her favorite colors hot pink, black & purple. She loved tulips, roses and taking photos of almost anything.  She enjoyed doing mechanical work on her cars, cooking, and picnics. Her favorite book of the Bible was Job, but she also liked Exodus 6:3 and Revelation 21:3-4.   She loved to visit Oklahoma City, family and restaurants.  Her favorite movie was The Wizard of Oz. Elsa became an unbaptized publisher in the St Joe South Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Elsa was preceded in death by her father, her brother, Paul Lynn Mays and sister, Rita Gayle Cage.

Elsa is survived by her six children, Malik Steele, A'Miracle Lanier, Ezekiel Lanier, Rachel Morris, Elissa Lanier, and Teriseta Morris. Her mother Luella (Phil) Little; Siblings, Michael (Megan) Harbord, Lucshal Moore, Frederick S. (Joyce) Moore, Jr., Melva (Kenny) Moore-Smith, Vernail Moore, Tameka (Brian) Collins, Michael (Darlene) Brown, Lisa Witherspoon, Eugene Moore, George Miller, Jr., and James (Destiny) Kindred. She left behind a host of other family members and she always maintained a loving relationship with her Aunt Linda (Harbord) White.

Farewell Services 11:00am on Saturday, October 5 at First Presbyterian Church, St. Joseph, MO.  Elsa has been cremated under the direction of Bullock Family Funeral Chapel.  The family will gather following her funeral services for a repass and remembrance dinner in the Fellowship Hall.
