Finest Leroy Banks, Jr., was called into eternity on March 11, 2025, at the age of 65. Finest was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, on August 14, 1959, to the late Finest Leroy Banks, Sr. and Anna Lou White-Banks.
A proud graduate of Central High School, Finest worked in the concrete industry for many years, first with Thompson Concrete Construction Company, then with Sonny Smith Concrete, and later as a self-employed concrete finisher. His dedication and work ethic were admired by those who knew him. Finest served his country a a member of the United States Army.
Finest was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Larry White, Virginia Banks-Hupp, Rosella Banks-Kirby, and his companion, Reyna Lynn Shockley. He is survived by his children, Shadryn Page, Anthony Busey, Eric Busey, Jamel Page, Marcus Busey, and Marisa Busey; his sister, Minister Bonnie White; his brothers, Henry and Luther Banks; as well as a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Finest's family and friends will always remember him for his kind heart, unwavering strength, and the many ways he touched their lives.
