Harold Lee White

Harold L. White, 87, left this earth, on September 26, 2022, at Mosaic Health Care with his loving family by his side. He was born August 15, 1935, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Virginia White-Mabion and Bud White,  and raised by his step-father Jewell Mabion. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1953, after high school he joined the United States Army. Harold married Ellen Justine Rucker on September 12, 1992, in St. Joseph, Missouri. Harold was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, he had retired from Polksy Motors. Harold enjoyed boxing, fishing, The Rodeo and a big fan of Nasscar, also spending time with his lovely wife and family.o

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard White, sisters Anna Lou Banks, Leotha Boyington, Jackie Mabion, Hortense Burnett, Helen Washington, Edna Mabion and daughter Michelle Kirby.

He is survived by his wife of the home, brother Frank Bell, sons David and Darryl Carey, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Home Going Celebration will be 12 Noon, Saturday October 01, 2022, New Hope Baptist Church, 1824 Sylvanie, St. Joseph, Missouri, family visitation, 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Bullock Family Funeral Chapel. bullockffc.com
