With profound sorrow and heartfelt remembrance, we announce the passing of Kristina Marie Thomas-Wilkinson, who departed this life on April 21, 2026, in St. Joseph, Missouri. Born on September 30, 1988, in Houston, Texas, Kristina lived a life filled with purpose, grace, and unwavering love for others.

Kristina’s presence was a beacon of warmth and inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her gentle spirit, radiant smile, and compassionate heart left an indelible mark on her community. She carried herself with quiet dignity and a strength of character that touched countless lives.

Kristina accepted Jesus Christ as Lord of her life at an early age. While living in St. Joseph, she was a faithful member of Holsey ICM Church under the pastorate of Mary E. McDonald. She was a proud graduate of Central High School and went on to pursue her passion for education. Kristina earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri. She dedicated her career to shaping young minds as an elementary school teacher in the St. Joseph School District, where her love for children and commitment to their growth shone brightly.

On March 19, 2015, Kristina was united in marriage to the love of her life, Antoine Wilkinson. Their bond was one of deep love and devotion.

Kristina was preceded in death by her beloved children, Amor D. Wilkinson and Avaya Wilkinson, and her grandmother, Delserne Woodson.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Antoine Wilkinson; her children, Aniya, Antoine A., Armon A., Artist, and Arros; her parents, Kirk Thomas, Maria and Emmit Woods; her siblings, Kirk Thomas II, Kristopher S. Thomas, Sr., Ciera Jacobs, Ebony Woods, Brittany Evans, and Bryant L. Evans; her sisters-in-law, Morgan Wilkinson and Sydney Wilkinson; along with a host of aunts, uncles, extended family members, and dear friends in Texas and beyond.

A Celebration of Life honoring Kristina will be held on May 2, 2026, at Word of Life Church, 3902 NE Riverside Road, St. Joseph, Missouri 64505. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m., as family and friends gather to honor and celebrate her life. The service will be livestreamed.

Though her time on earth was far too brief, Kristina’s legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her life stands as a beautiful testament to compassion, resilience, and the enduring power of love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
