With profound respect and deep admiration, we remember the remarkable life of MICHELLE RENEE DAWSON, who departed this world on June 26, 2026, in St. Joseph, Missouri, at the age of 59. Michelle’s journey began on February 27, 1967, the day she entered the world, destined to leave an indelible mark upon all who had the privilege of knowing her. Michelle was born in St. Joseph to Ronald Bohon and Sharon Cox-Peek. Michelle was a graduate of Benton High School, she also worked at the nurse for a number of years. In 1994 she married Donald Dawson, he survives of the home. Michelle is also survived by a son William Ray Dawson, her parents Ronald Bohon, Sharon Cox-Peek,Vincent Peek, Winslow Peek, Jeffrey Peek, Rodney Peek. and Johnathan Peek.

Michelle’s presence was distinguished by a grace and resolve that shaped her every endeavor. Through times of both triumph and challenge, she walked her path with quiet dignity and unwavering strength. The contours of her life were painted with acts of kindness, steadfast loyalty, and a deep compassion for those around her. Michelle’s touch was gentle yet profound—her words, spoken or silent, lingered long after, a testament to her ability to uplift spirits and provide solace.

A memorial service celebrating Michelle Renee Dawson’s life will be held on Monday, July 6, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Francis Baptist Temple, 1610 Angelique Street, Saint Joseph, Missouri. All who wish to honor her memory and pay their respects are welcome to gather in remembrance of a life so well lived.

Michelle’s journey among us may have reached its peaceful conclusion, but the light of her spirit, her kindness, and the traces of her presence remain as guiding stars for all those she leaves behind.
