Rashad Jamal McGaughy, 35, St. Joseph, Missouri passed June 05, 2026 at home. Born in St. Joseph, July 12, 1990 to Paul and Carol McGaughy. Rashad was a graduate of Central High School and attended Northwest Missouri University. He was a lifelong Atlanta Falcon football fan and enjoyed teasing Kansas City Chiefs fans for any mishaps.nHis smile and personality would light up any room or situation he encountered, especiallly with his impish humor and observations. He attended many WWE and independent wrestling events with his brother and many of his friends.
Despite is medical issues he was determined to remain employed and be as independent as possible. He was previously employed by USA 800 and most recently at Result telemarketing.
He was devoted to his mother, and was often the calming anchor for his father. His many varied friendships and relationships are true measure of his kindheartled and gentle nature, he truly could befriend anybody. His quick and logical thought process could defuse tense disagreements but not brook ignorance or follhardy behavior. His debate skills remained legendary and to be carefully challenged.
A talented singer, actor, dance and mime he participated in several plays and stage events throughout highschool. He earned all district honors as a member of the chorus. He enjoyed playing any sport and gave all he could to nhelp his team and teammates. After watching him in a school play, one of his football coaches called him "the dancing bear".
At any casino roulette wheel he would "bet 11 and all the neighbors" winning more often than not. His empathetic nature led him to be generous to a fault when tipping service workers.
Rashad is simply irreplceable, never forgotten and loved.
Rashad is survived by his parents Paul and Carol McGaughy and a brother Hassan McGaughy.
